Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain chiller treatment, RO humidification systems, water softeners, boiler treatment, and DI systems for optimal performance.
- Test and record water quality parameters, including hardness, pH, conductivity, and chemical concentrations.
- Adjust chemical dosages and system settings to maintain specified water quality levels.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on water treatment equipment.
- Troubleshoot system problems and perform corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation for compliance and reporting.
- Manage inventory of treatment chemicals and supplies.
- Adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with facility management regarding system status and maintenance needs.
Basic Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance is required to be considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water treatment systems in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or facilities environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or technical training in water treatment preferred).
- Experience with water treatment systems, especially chillers, RO, softeners, boilers, and DI systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical training in water treatment preferred.
- Certified Water Treatment Operator Chiller water treatment knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, or noisy areas).
