Water Treatment Field Service Technician

About the role

Culligan is seeking experienced individuals for field service technician roles. While mechanical service experience is helpful, we will train the right candidate. Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn continuously, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal laws.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Complete scheduled service orders daily.
• Perform diagnostics on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues.
• Identify additional services that may be required and present options to customers.
• Represent Culligan through direct customer interaction, communicating equipment status and providing solutions.
• Collect payments upon completion of services and assist with past due receivables.
• Complete basic installation and removal of water treatment equipment.
• Accurately complete daily paperwork and service orders.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves for water treatment equipment using hand or power tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the city area where you would be working.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
• Valid driver’s license.

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Drive for extended periods (2-3 hours).
• Kneel or bend for extended periods of time.
