Water Technician I

About the role

ServiceMaster CDR, a top-tier full-service Disaster Restoration company, is seeking a Water Restoration Technician. We help communities recover and rebuild through water mitigation, fire damage restoration, and mold remediation. With 5 locations across Ohio, we are one of the top 5 ServiceMaster franchises in the nation. Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and initiate water mitigation services
• Perform water extraction, steam cleaning, demolition, and mold remediation
• Set up and monitor professional drying equipment
• Accurately document progress using job management software
• Work collaboratively with homeowners, office staff, and lead technicians to complete scheduled projects
• Maintain company standards for appearance, communication, and equipment upkeep

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
• Basic knowledge of hand tools (preferred but not required)
• Customer service skills and a desire to learn
• Comfort using technology like smartphones and tablets
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Be ready to work overtime, weekends, and in varying weather conditions
• Climb ladders, wear respirators when needed, and work in tight spaces
• A strong sense of urgency and ability to follow directions are key to success
