About the role

This role will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the water treatment system supporting the wash line. Respond promptly to all safety incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and reporting procedures. Monitor and make appropriate adjustments to optimize water quality. Wear appropriate safety equipment in changing and dealing with chemicals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant and surrounding areas. Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and adherence to environmental regulations. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Maintain communication channels with team members on duty.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to all safety incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Monitor and make appropriate adjustments to optimize water quality.
  • Wear appropriate safety equipment in changing and dealing with chemicals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plant and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Maintain communication channels with team members on duty.
  • Learn to run and make adjustments to the wash line and extrusion equipment.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, or GED required.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Perform well in a customer-driven, safety-conscious organization.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Ability to periodically lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or shifts with a strong work ethic and employment history.
