Water Staff Engineer

About the role

A Staff Engineer for McClure will have the independence and skilled oversight to grow their knowledge in various projects in the design of primarily water and wastewater systems. This role will provide exposure to all aspects of serving a community with dependable drinking water and ensuring the community can efficiently capture and treat its wastewater and stormwater.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and oversee projects related to water and wastewater systems.
• Work in a team environment with other engineers, technicians, and survey field staff.
• Develop and maintain project reports, plans, exhibits, and client connections.
• Maintain knowledge of engineering principles and codes to ensure project completion.
• Understand client needs to secure repeat business.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of experience desired.
• State Recognition as an Engineering Intern (EI) or Engineer in Training (EIT), having passed the FE test.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of engineering principles and codes.
• Ability to understand and meet client needs.
