Responsibilities

  • Communicates with internal engineers, technicians or administrative staff to assign and perform work.
  • Communicates with client and outside agencies as needed.
  • Performs technical analyses, design and evaluations.
  • Plans and coordinates aspects of work.
  • Prepares scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Aids in proposal preparation to provide professional services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering (or related Engineering field), with emphasis in water resources
  • 2 to 5 years of related experience
  • EIT certification required, PE in New York strongly preferred
  • Knowledge/experience with modeling software programs such as Infoworks ICM, MIKE, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS and GMS
  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design of various green and grey stormwater water management features is strongly desirable
  • Experience with 2D hydraulic modeling is desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic MS Office software
  • Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required

Skills

Pay

The projected range for this position is $76,388- $110,489 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
