Water & Sewer Manager

About the role

This position is responsible for managing the administrative functions, as well as the operations and maintenance of the city’s water distribution and sewer collection departments, along with their infrastructure systems. This position has direct supervision over assigned personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the water distribution and sewer collection departments.
• Maintain and oversee the infrastructure systems of the water distribution and sewer collection departments.
• Directly supervise assigned personnel to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and/or sewer management.
• Valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of water and sewer treatment processes.
• Experience with asset management software.
