About the role
The City of Pittsfield's Department of Public Utilities, Water Division, is currently seeking to fill the position of Water & Sewer Maintenance Person. This individual is responsible for performing skilled manual and equipment-assisted work, and operates hydraulic equipment and vehicles in the construction, operation, and maintenance of water distribution and sewage collection systems. The incumbent will be required to be available to respond to emergency & trouble calls on a rotating 24 hour a day basis.
