Primary Duties
- Serves as a lifeguard and ensures that constant and adequate lifeguard coverage while pool is in use.
- Ensures the safety of all campers at all times.
- Prepares for and actively participates in staff training, orientation, meetings and supervisory conferences.
- Adheres to the camp's personnel policies.
- Promotes good camp spirit and unity; encourages respect for personal property, camp equipment and facilities.
- Serves as a good example in personal language, appearance and health habits.
- Wears camp T-shirts, appropriate shorts and shoes at all times.
- Evaluates the current season and makes recommendations for equipment, supplies and program for the following season.
Secondary Duties
- Supervises campers during water safety instruction.
- Pre and Post Tests campers' swim levels.
- Accurately tracks and reports campers' progress.
