About the role
Dewberry is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for its Virginia Beach, VA office during the Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on project experience
- Develop technical skills
- Engage in meaningful work assignments
- Participate in a summer-long group project
- Work alongside firm leaders to address strategic issues
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues
- Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software
- Able to work in a team environment

Pay
$18.75 /hour - $29.75 /hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
