Water Resources Engineer

About the role

Provide engineering services on a wide range of water-related projects, including hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, computer modeling, data analysis, GIS and CAD work, research, water infrastructure design, construction observation, and technical report generation. Apply engineering principles to enhance municipal projects and improve public infrastructure (water, sewer, and storm drain pipelines).

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS for project planning and design (pipeline extensions, replacements, and new urban developments).
• Analyze engineering data and prepare design calculations.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and assist with bid documents for municipal projects to ensure compliance with regulatory and engineering standards.
• Oversee construction projects, including submittal review, progress reporting, on-site observations, daily report preparation, and contractor communication.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and MS Excel.
