Responsibilities

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for drainage design, floodplain studies, and stormwater management projects
  • Prepare drainage reports, master drainage plans, and floodplain delineation studies in accordance with local, county, and FEMA standards
  • Develop and run hydraulic models (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS) to evaluate flood risk, channel capacity, and detention/retention basin design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in water resources engineering
  • EIT, preferably PE licensed in Arizona
  • Experience preparing drainage reports, master drainage studies, or floodplain analyses
  • Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD
