Responsibilities
- Typical projects involve hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater mitigation, stormwater design, storm water master plans, mitigation planning, surface water assessment, and storm water quality.
- Aid federal, state and local clients in solving their most challenging problems related to water resources.
- Deliver high-quality, complex projects for top-tier water clients across the country.
- Collaborate with the best and brightest to work on innovative and complex projects at the forefront of the industry.
Requirements
- B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
- 5-10 years’ water resources-related experience.
- Ability to perform engineering analysis; develop preliminary and detailed designs of stormwater facilities; and write specifications and construction documents.
- Progressive experience conducting business development and/or project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects in coastal and interior drainage communities, including Stormwater Pump Stations, flood control channels and tide gates.
- Experience with dam safety and design.
- Knowledge and experience with USACE Civil Works projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
- Knowledge/experience with ESRI Arc GIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
- P.E. certification a plus.
