About the role

The City of Covington is seeking a Water Reclamation Facility Operator in the Water Reclamation Department. The starting hourly rate is $20.68 and up, based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of semi-skilled, skilled, laboratory, computer, technical, and maintenance work in the operation of wastewater treatment facilities and systems.
• Minimal education and experience qualifications include high school diploma or GED equivalent, Class III Wastewater Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within one year of appointment.
• Desired experience includes wastewater treatment experience, but any equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

• Possession of Class III Wastewater Certification or the ability to attain certification within one year of appointment.
