Water Project Engineer

About the role

A Project Engineer for McClure will have the independence and skilled oversight to grow their knowledge in various projects in the design of primarily water and wastewater systems. This role will provide exposure to all aspects of serving a community with dependable drinking water and ensuring the community can efficiently capture and treat its wastewater and stormwater.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and oversee projects related to water and wastewater systems
• Work in a team environment with other engineers, technicians, and survey field staff
• Develop and present reports, plans, and exhibits
• Ensure projects are completed according to engineering principles and codes
• Understand client needs to secure repeat business

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 4-6 years of experience desired
• Professional Engineering License (PE) required
