About The Position
Fort Bend County Water Control & Improvement District No. 2, Texas Water Production Operator II/III
Responsibilities
- Operate pumps, motors, valves, and chemical feed systems
- Maintain and monitor treatment processes
- Collect and record operational data
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Help troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Support the operation of the District’s public water system and associated production facilities
Requirements
- Two (2) years related experience and/or training in operating a surface water treatment or ground water plant, or equivalent combination of water related education and experience preferred for Operator II.
- Four (4) years related experience and/or training in operating a surface water treatment plant or ground water plant, or equivalent combination of water related education and experience for Operator III.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required.
- College level coursework in water production preferred.
