Water Operator II

DUTIES

Under the general supervision and direction of the Water Superintendent, performs skilled work pertaining to the operations, maintenance and construction of the City's culinary water system.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent education required.
• Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in construction, maintenance and repair of water distribution systems.
• Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License and a Utah State Class II Water Certification; must obtain a UDOT Flagging Certificate within three months of hire.

SCHEDULE

40+ hours per week. M-TH. Required to participate in the on-call rotation. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
