Water Pipe Fitter
Archer Western Construction is seeking a Water Pipe Fitter for the Water Mountain West/Apache Junction Sewer District in Apache Junction, Arizona. The role involves pipe-laying tasks such as laying, joining, wrapping, and sealing pipes on construction jobsites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. May operate hand and power tools and assist with site preparation and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections, including clay, concrete, and other types of pipe for water/gas mains, sanitary sewers, telephone/electrical conduits.
- Works with crew members and operates a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
- Performs tasks involving physical labor as instructed by a supervisor.
Requirements
- 1 year of verifiable experience preferred.
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds/ladder.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure proper project completion.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
