About the role
The Water Management Equipment Technician (WMET) is responsible for providing service and account management support for clients in a defined region. This includes conducting water tests, maintaining equipment, and assisting in Comprehensive Water Management Programs.
Responsibilities
- Taking water tests and maintaining equipment
- Responding to client requests for water analysis and monitoring
- Collecting building water samples for laboratory analysis
- Mentoring and training peers to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and team development
Qualifications
- Background in science, engineering, or mathematics (preferred)
- Ability to learn and use water monitoring equipment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to high ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, and Google applications
Skills
- Knowledge of pH, temperature, and oxidant measurements in water
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Facilitation and mentoring abilities
- Adaptability and self-motivation
- MS Office and Google application proficiency
