Water Management Equipment Technician
Position Summary
Phigenics is seeking a full-time Water Management Equipment Technician (WMET) who will report to the Director of Field Services and provide service and account management support for clients in a region. The WMET will service existing clients by taking water tests, maintaining equipment, and assisting in maintaining Comprehensive Water Management Programs by analyzing microbiological and water chemistry data and responding quickly, professionally, and accurately to client requests.
Skills And Qualifications
- Background in science, engineering, or mathematics preferred
- Ability to learn how to use equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant in water
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills

Work Environment / Travel
The position requires traveling to client sites in a region, servicing equipment, and collecting water samples. Some overnight travel will be involved. Travel up to a 400-mile radius on occasion is expected. Mileage reimbursement is available. The wearing of PPE is sometimes required. The position often requires a great deal of walking around client sites, may include climbing stairs or ladders, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds. May provide occasional support in other regions.
