Water Management Equipment Technician
Position Summary
Phigenics is seeking a full-time Water Management Equipment Technician (WMET) who will report to the Director of Field Services and provide service and account management support for clients in a region. WMETs will take water tests, maintain equipment, analyze microbiological and water chemistry data, respond to client requests, and assist in maintaining Comprehensive Water Management Programs.
Skills And Qualifications
- Background in science, engineering, or mathematics preferred
- Ability to learn how to use equipment that measures pH, temperature, and residual oxidant in water
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated and directed
- Demonstrate commitment to high ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
- Understand and use MS Office, Gmail, and various Google applications
Work Environment / Travel
- Requires traveling to client sites in a region, servicing equipment, and collecting water samples
- Some overnight travel will be involved
- Travel up to a 150-mile radius is expected
- Mileage reimbursement is available
- The position often requires a great deal of walking around client sites, may include climbing stairs or ladders, and may require lifting up to 25 pounds
- May provide occasional support in other regions
