Water Infrastructure Team Lead
Job Summary
Garver is seeking a Water Infrastructure Team Leader in Huntsville, AL to build and maintain a portfolio of profitable water / wastewater projects in support of Garver’s Alabama's Water Services Team.
About the Role
This senior leadership position provides the opportunity for someone to grow their own team and business portfolio, with autonomy to focus on the growth of revenues and production for a set of clients of their choosing.
Project Responsibilities
- Planning, design, and managing a variety of projects related to water distribution and wastewater collection system infrastructure.
- Working closely with Garver’s Alabama Water Business Team Leader to grow our practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama
- 8 or more years of similar experience in the water/wastewater utilities market with a focus on linear assets, storage, and pumping for water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- 5 or more years of project management experience
- Working knowledge of presentation software such as MS PowerPoint or Keynote
- Strong communication skills and public speaking ability
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 5 or more years of similar experience in supporting municipalities in Alabama
- Experience with state and or national conference technical presentations on water distribution and wastewater collection topics
- Strong existing client relationships with multiple Alabama municipal water and wastewater utilities
