Water & Fire Restoration Technician

ServiceMaster Restore - Crofton is hiring a Restoration Technician to join our growing fire and water restoration team. We help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, smoke, and storm damage. This is hands-on work that makes a real difference for people during stressful situations, while offering strong long-term career opportunities in a growing industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water, fire, and storm damage emergencies
• Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification services
• Set up and monitor restoration equipment
• Perform demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Take moisture readings and document job progress
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Restoration, construction, or general labor experience preferred
• IICRC certifications are a plus, but not required

Pay

Entry-level technicians: $17–20/hr
Experienced technicians: $21–$25/hr

Schedule

This role includes indoor and outdoor work in a variety of conditions and may require occasional on-call or emergency response availability.
