About the Role
As a Water & Fire Damage Technician, you will assist team members by providing skilled and unskilled labor while learning professional mitigation and disaster response techniques through hands-on training. You'll support restoration services for residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform unskilled and skilled labor as assigned
- Show up on time for shifts in proper uniform and well-groomed
- Be available for on-call and emergency schedule rotation
- Learn and practice commitment to customer service
- Fill out paperwork properly (timesheets, PO forms, field checklists)
- Monitor losses and document readings
- Exercise good judgment and understand and carry out written and oral instructions
- Apply sound problem-solving ability
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds
