Water & Fire Damage Technician

About the Role

As a Water & Fire Damage Technician, you will assist team members by providing skilled and unskilled labor while learning professional mitigation and disaster response techniques through hands-on training. You'll support restoration services for residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and skilled labor as assigned
• Show up on time for shifts in proper uniform and well-groomed
• Be available for on-call and emergency schedule rotation
• Learn and practice commitment to customer service
• Fill out paperwork properly (timesheets, PO forms, field checklists)
• Monitor losses and document readings
• Exercise good judgment and understand and carry out written and oral instructions
• Apply sound problem-solving ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds
