Water Damage Technician

About the Role

We make a difference in people's lives by helping homeowners and small businesses when they experience water damage. Our team removes water, tears out non-salvageable materials, disinfects, and dries affected structures. We also perform mold remediation and work with smoke and fire damaged buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carefully move customer contents (furniture and other belongings)
• Tear out and remove non-salvageable materials such as carpeting, padding, drywall, etc.
• Carry in and carry out drying equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Some college a plus)
• Reliable transportation and good driving record
• Available to work after hours and weekends as needed in a rotation
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Immediately responsive to texts and phone calls and be on-time
• IICRC Water Restoration certification a plus

Pay

$18.50 - $31.00 per hour (plus mileage reimbursement). Increased rate available based on experience, skills, availability, and dependability.

Schedule

On-call; various times including some weekend/after hours rotations. Average 30-40 hours per week. Location: Various homes and businesses in metro Detroit suburbs.
