Water Damage Technician

About the role

Responsible for packing, labeling, inventorying, and documenting customer contents, loading and unloading contents for transport, wrapping, protecting, and staging furniture and personal items on-site, maintaining accurate inventory records and photos, working closely with mitigation and restoration crews, keeping vehicles, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized, performing tasks at high elevations, handling hazardous materials safely, and performing tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handle a range of restoration projects including emergency mitigation, water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage restoration, sewage cleanup, mold remediation, and more.
• Work closely with mitigation and restoration crews.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and photos.
• Perform tasks at high elevations, including using ladders and scaffolding safely.
• Safely handle hazardous materials as required by the job.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work 8+ hours a day, depending on the job requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• IICRC Certification (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification) is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience 2-4 years of packout / Mitigation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, team members, and management.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and handle physical tasks.
• Bilingual English / Spanish is encouraged.
