Water Country - Security Agent

Roles & Responsibilities

Security Agents are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for guests and employees. The perfect candidate should have an eye for detail, a knack for problem-solving, and an ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Enforce all park rules and regulations
• Maintain constant vigilance while the park is operating to identify any potential issues or safety concerns
• Communicate any potential issues to other departments and/or leadership in a timely manner
• Conduct bag checks to prevent prohibited items from entering the park
• Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
• Monitor guest safety and communicate conflicts to supervisors on duty
• Take control of emergencies and intense situations while remaining calm
• Professionally manage crowd control during emergency situations
• Continuously monitor guest behaviors and attempt to curtail any potential situations before they escalate further
• Exercise clear and concise communications with all park departments
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with NH Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work third shift (overnight)
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must have exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Must possess exceptional physical abilities, including standing, walking, and remaining on feet for majority of the workday
• Must have proper PPE in dark environments, particularly during midnight shift
• Must have good visual acuity, night vision, and peripheral vision
• Must have proper PPE in bloodborne pathogen situations
• Must have proper PPE in high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments
• Must have proper PPE in working conditions that involve constant repetitive motion

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Equivalent work experience will also be considered
• 1+ year of previous security or related experience highly desired
• NH Security Identification Card are preferred, but not required
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus
