Water Blast & Vacuum Technician- 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Operate and maintain various equipment including skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, and hand/power tools.
• Handle up to 10,000 psi water pressure and perform tasks such as vacuuming waste, cleaning machines and areas, and cleaning lines and pipes.
• Assist in sanitation and cleaning tasks such as shoveling, snow removal, and pesticide application.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to complete assigned tasks and develop customer relations.
• Work from elevated areas and utilize fall protection equipment as required.
• Maintain a consistent attendance record and adhere to the published work schedule, including overtime as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding unresolved work issues, personnel issues, and employee complaints.
• Evaluate sites for safety hazards and communicate any concerns to supervisors.
• Use a company radio for communication.
• Perform administrative duties such as time sheet management and work order completion.
• Comply with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Achieve performance expectations set forth in performance appraisals.

Requirements

• 2 years of industrial cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license; may require a CDL license based on local, state, and site requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to observe details at close range.
• Control precision and manual dexterity.
• Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to move for extended periods.
• Ability to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and step stools.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
• Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.
• Effective communication and expression skills.
• Information ordering ability.

$23.29 - $27.40 per hour
