Key Responsibilities
- Routine Servicing: Perform immediate, low-complexity tasks including battery replacements, quartz diagnostics, and gasket renewals
- Exterior Work: Handle bracelet sizing, strap replacements, spring bar fixes, and ultrasonic case cleaning
- Quality Assurance: Execute water-resistance pressure tests and monitor multi-position timekeeping accuracy for completed repairs
- Logistics & Support: Manage incoming short jobs, clean and organize bench workstations, and order and catalog incoming spare parts
- Apprenticeship Training: Participate actively in hands-on mentorship modules covering mechanical movements, hairspring manipulation, and micromechanics
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior watchmaking experience required; background in fine mechanics, jewelry making, or detailed assembly is a plus
- Skills: Exceptional manual dexterity, steady hands, and comfort working under a loupe or microscope for extended periods
- Traits: Intense focus, patience, strong organizational skills, and a passionate desire to learn the trade of horology
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
