Watch Officer- Mid Level

About the Role

StratasCorp Tech is seeking an experienced Watch Officer- Mid Level located in Quantico, Virginia. This position is located on-site in Quantico, VA. There are no remote or hybrid opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational status of MCEN services and systems
• Receive and track network outages, incidents and significant events
• Maintain situational awareness for the operations center/watch floor
• Coordinate with network operations, cybersecurity, service desk, field teams and stakeholders
• Escalate significant incidents to the technical teams and leadership
• Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare shift turnover reports, daily operational summaries and incident reports
• Participate in incident bridges or conference calls during major outages
• Monitor trouble tickets

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance
• 7 years' experience working in similar environments
• Experience in a NOC, SOC, help desk, command center, or DoD watch environment
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Education and Certification

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Security+ Certification

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
