Wastewater/Water Operator

About the role

Bering Global Solutions, a company within the BSNC family, is seeking a qualified Wastewater/Water Operator for a Maintenance BOS Contract in Chesapeake, VA. Applicants will be contacted via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal. The position offers shareholder preference to BSNC shareholders, descendants, and spouses who meet minimum qualifications. Successful candidates must pass a pre‑employment drug screening, pass a background check, and, if required, obtain the appropriate clearance levels for access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the wastewater and water treatment plants.
• Support operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment and water treatment.
• Perform routine and non‑routine inspections of the entire wastewater/water treatment facility.
• Collect and run routine bench‑top analysis of various wastewater/water treatment samples.
• Collect, document, and report operating conditions of specific wastewater/water treatment equipment and systems.
• Record routine and non‑routine activities during scheduled shifts.
• Perform housekeeping assignments as required for the wastewater/water treatment facility.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• All required local, state, and federal licensing.
• Class 3 wastewater license.
• Class 4 water license.
• Experience with day‑to‑day operations of wastewater and water treatment.
• Valid Real ID Driver’s License.
• Facility maintenance experience with the DoD preferred.
