This position operates and monitors chemical and mechanical systems pertinent to wastewater treatment and control at a wastewater treatment plant.Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor chemical and mechanical systems
- Maintain records and logs related to system operations
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Respond to emergencies and malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Georgia Wastewater Operator License
- Experience in wastewater treatment operations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Qualifications
