Wastewater Engineer project Manager

Civil Project Manager Water & Wastewater Infrastructure A well-established regional consulting engineering firm is looking to add a Civil Project Manager to its growing municipal infrastructure team. This position will focus on the design and management of water treatment, water distribution, wastewater treatment, and collection system projects for local communities throughout the region. Ideal candidates will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a client-focused mindset. Office Locations: Manhattan, KS | Lawrence, KS | Smithville, MO Primary Responsibilities Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects from planning through constructionCoordinate project schedules, budgets, and deliverablesPrepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reportsServe as a point of contact for municipal clients and regulatory agenciesSupport permitting and construction administration activitiesMentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering5+ years of related civil engineering experiencePE License preferred / a strong plusExperience with municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projectsProficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeFamiliarity with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, or similar engineering software preferredStrong communication, organizational, and project management skillsAbility to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected engineering firm offering long-term career growth, diverse municipal projects, and a strong team culture.
