Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage wastewater infrastructure projects and project teams to support the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects.
• Develop creative solutions to complex wastewater treatment challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
• Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion.
• Manage and mentor junior level staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Experience managing multi-discipline infrastructure projects.
• Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects.
• Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) + years of experience designing and/or managing water or wastewater treatment or conveyance projects.
• Knowledge of regional water or wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to scope and budget new water or wastewater facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Benefits
