About the role
Maintains Town sewer lines, manholes and pump stations under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Responds to Town sewer backups
- Installs sewer taps for new locations
- Operates specialized and heavy equipment and machinery
- Reports to the Wastewater Superintendent
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid Georgia driver's license. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
- Experience in wastewater collection preferred
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems helpful
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
