Responsibilities

  • Educate and sell solutions to industrial manufacturers and municipalities with wastewater pre-treatment permits or NPDES permits.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and align Operators Unlimited's solutions to their business needs and challenges.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Travel frequently to customer locations to represent the company effectively.

Requirements

  • A BS/BA degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of sales experience with industrial wastewater and/or wastewater treatment.
  • Knowledge and experience selling solutions in areas such as chemistry, operations, equipment, and compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex sales cycles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, editing, and presenting.
  • Physical requirements include lifting at least 50 pounds, 75% travel, stooping, bending, kneeling, ascending/descending ladders and steps, walking through large facilities, and working in environmental settings.

Pay

The estimated salary for the Business Development Manager - SC position is $66,453 per year.

The schedule for this role includes frequent travel to customer locations in SC, NC, and GA.
