Waste Technician

About the role

Collect and transport materials throughout company campuses, maintain clean and safe waste collection areas, and operate company vehicles safely between buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport baled cardboard to designated disposal or recycling areas.
• Remove and dispose of trash and recycling gondolas.
• Collect and transport scrap metal to the appropriate recycling or disposal locations.
• Move and organize used pallets as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe loading docks and waste collection areas.
• Operate company vehicles safely while traveling between buildings and facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid non-CDL Class C driver's license or a Class C learner's permit (candidates with a permit must be able to obtain a valid non-CDL Class C driver's license while employed).
• Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials as required.
• Strong attention to safety, organization, and teamwork.
• 1 year of experience with waste management.

Pay

Base salary range: $20.00 to $21.00 hourly.
