Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation of the functional requirements of the Waste Data System Program and day-to-day data management functions. Responsibilities will include: development of software quality assurance documentation; development, review and testing of enhancements to the application software; routine data management functions, including data approvals, development of reference data, new user accounts and online help; development, review and approval of data change requests; development of updates to departmental program plans and procedures and interface with site document control personnel; act as training coordinator and records management coordinator for the department. The successful candidate will qualify as a Data Administrator at WIPP.

Minimum Requirements
These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and completed applications are the means of determination.
- Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years of relevant experience, or
- Associate’s degree with six (6) years of relevant experience, or
- High School Diploma or Equivalency with ten (10) years of relevant experience is required.
Relevant refers to experience in waste management, natural sciences, or information systems.
Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information.

Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) is a plus.
Knowledge of software, quality assurance principles, and software development is preferred.
Previous WIPP Project experience.
