Washington Area Building Engineering Services Project Delivery Leader
About the role
We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the Washington (WA) Area Building Engineering Services (BES) Project Delivery Leader (PDL). This role reports to the WA BES Business Group Manager (BGM) and works closely with the BGM to provide and promote consistent project management processes, quality, and oversight of project delivery across the BES Business Group.
Responsibilities
- Promote, monitor, and develop project management skills and quality best practices for BES staff across the Area
- Provide project management team organization and leadership for projects across the BES Business Group
- Maintain and lead activities for continuous improvement of Project Management including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned
- Lead and monitor activities for quality assurance efforts to implement QA/QC Program activities, striving for continuous improvement
- Collaborate effectively with Business Group operations, market leadership / sectors, business classes, and Professional Services Leaders
- Support recruiting and retention efforts for the program
- Perform delegated/designated BGM matrix of authority (MOA) responsibilities
- Streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with the overall Area, corporate policy, and MOA
- Aid with daily operations, such as project oversight, management reviews, financials, and driving profitability at the project level
- Develop and implement standard project delivery practices, procedures, and approaches
- Participate in 0% reviews, project reviews, and project approach and resources reviews (PARRs), and support project teams with management of claims and losses
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with project teams to verify that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
- The ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills

- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
