Wash Technician

Location: Wright, WY 82732 – North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM), the United States' largest surface coal mine, producing high-quality thermal coal with approximately 465 million tons of coal reserves. Wright is part of Campbell County, a safe, tight-knit community with outstanding schools and various recreational opportunities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Wash Technician to join our maintenance team. The role involves washing mining equipment in the shop and pit, maintaining cleanliness of wash bays and surrounding areas, and promoting a safety-first culture with zero recordable MSHA injuries/incidents.

Responsibilities

• Wash mine equipment for maintenance departments while using proper PPE.
• Ensure wash bays are clean and free from tripping hazards.
• Dispose of trash and debris in proper receptacles.
• Assist with general housekeeping of break areas, shops, yards, and warehouse areas.
• Use a high-pressure washer for extended periods.
• Perform duties day and night, on all surfaces, and in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• General shop or industrial labor experience preferred.
• Ability to:
  • Reach, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls with hands, arms, legs, and feet.
  • Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders/steps.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds for minimal distances.
  • Communicate effectively and hear others.
  • Maintain mental focus and concentration.
  • See (close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus).
