Warranty Tech Specialist
Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is hiring a Warranty Tech Specialist to join our Customer Service Department. About the role
Do you love motorsports? Do you want to work in a fun, rewarding environment with fellow enthusiasts? As a Warranty Tech Specialist, you’ll handle warranty issues, process claims, and collaborate with customers, CSRs, and manufacturers to ensure timely resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Speak and follow up with CSRs and customers via email and phone regarding warranty issues
- Assess and inspect product and warranty claims
- Follow manufacturer warranty procedures and process claims
- Process Return Authorizations and coordinate returns with vendors/manufacturers
- Document known issues and report them to vendors/manufacturers
- Perform work safely and adhere to established procedures
- Complete R&D assignments as directed by your supervisor
- Work collaboratively with others in a teamwork-driven, respectful workplace
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Industry knowledge or outdoor powersport product knowledge is desired
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to adapt to evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, including numerical specifications
- Must be able to work scheduled hours and be a collaborative team player
- Strong work ethic with a focus on commitment, quality, and dependability
Physical Requirements
- Regularly walk and navigate elevation changes (steps, ladders, varied surfaces)
- Safely move through warehouse work areas
- Close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
- Use hands to handle tools, objects, and materials
- Frequently sit, stand, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Read, write, and understand basic English
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (up to 45 pounds with assistance or if capable)
