About the role
The Warranty Specialist is responsible for managing the warranty claims process to maximize recovery and ensure customer satisfaction. This role supports the organization by maintaining effective communication with vendors and internal teams, overseeing warranty claims and product improvement programs, and ensuring compliance with warranty procedures. The position contributes to operational efficiency by analyzing warranty data and facilitating accurate processing of claims.
Responsibilities
- Manage Product Improvement Programs and warranty claims to ensure proper recovery for warrantable repairs.
- Oversee the processing of warrantable parts returns in compliance with vendor requirements.
- Coordinate accurate documentation of labor hours and failure descriptions for warranty claims.
- Analyze reports to enhance the efficiency of warranty claim processes and identify improvements.
- Communicate with stores, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate timely and accurate warranty processing.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, store teams, and warranty specialists.
- Knowledge of warranty processes and vendor expectations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and report warranty data.
