Warranty Project Manager (US)
A Snapshot of Your Day – We are seeking a Warranty Claims Project Manager to serve as the primary interface between Siemens Energy and its customers for processing warranty claims on transformers within Grid Technologies Order Execution. This role involves direct customer interaction and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the collection of warranty claims and work with internal stakeholders—including factories, project managers, service organization, and finance—to resolve claims.
- Interface with the global factory network, local stakeholders, suppliers, and the GT Service team in a high-visibility role.
- Support the implementation of business processes to navigate growth.
- Improve customer satisfaction through clear and proactive communication on warranty and quality-related matters.
- Provide quality and warranty performance feedback to manufacturing teams to drive continuous product improvements.
- Coordinate and monitor repair activities, ensuring timely follow-up with internal stakeholders on repair status and resolutions.
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve and close repair-related financial matters efficiently.
- Partner with Project Managers to manage warranty claims, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and flow of claims throughout the Project Management and Service/Warranty lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in process management/improvement and coordinating international customers, partners, and suppliers. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher-level role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and functions.
- Experience implementing digital solutions to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support business growth (preferred).
- Experience with power transformers (preferred).
- Self-motivated, results-driven professional who can work independently in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and SAP; experience with the Mendix platform is a plus.
- Willingness to travel (~20%) as needed.
- Legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
