Warranty Litigation Counsel

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large portfolio of warranty litigation, including working with outside counsel through the length of the case.
• Aiding in reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery responses, helping develop effective defense strategies, and negotiating with opposing counsel.
• Aggregating cost data to create cost-effective strategies for litigation management.
• Collaborate with dealerships to complete final repair attempts, obtain necessary information and documentation to evaluate and resolve breach of warranty matters.
• Represent the organization in litigation: in court, mediation, depositions, and trials throughout the United States.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school, Barred in at least one state
• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably in warranty matters
• Substantive legal knowledge and understanding of warranty and lemon laws
• Ability to handle case from start to finish, including managing strategy
• Proficient in legal research
