Litigation Counsel

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of complex litigation, including case investigation, pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, trial, and settlement negotiations.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with attorneys, staff, and expert witnesses.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the litigation process.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff.
• Cook up and coordinate with opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders to advance litigation objectives.
• Ensure high-quality legal work while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Travel as needed for court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and trial.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 6 years of litigation experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex affirmative litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills.
• Experience handling discovery, dispositive motions, trials, and settlement negotiations.
• Able to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $180,000-$205,000 annually (DOE)
