About the role

The Warehouser/General, Warehouser/Case Sealer, and Warehouser/Receiver positions are integral parts of the warehouse operations at Johns Manville. These roles are responsible for ensuring the safe, quality-driven, efficient, and continuous operation of warehouse processes. They work closely with other crew members, engineers, technologists, or support personnel to coordinate efforts and maintain machines and work areas in clean, good operating condition.

Responsibilities

• Follows JSAs, uses and promotes safe work practices, and reports hazardous conditions at all times.
• Maintains machines and work areas in clean, good operating condition.
• Operates SAP including scanning product and printing necessary documents for shipping.
• Ensures proper stacking and loading of materials into trailers for shipping.
• Counts material on inbound and outbound trailers and reports discrepancies.
• Assists in inventory control including FIFO, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
• Maintains the case sealer for proper operation and sealing of cartons.
• Programs the case sealer for proper labels and handles label issues.
• Assigns material to sort lanes and clears box jams from the conveyor system.
• Safely unloads raw materials from bulk tankers and trailers.
• Unloads trailers of raw materials and assists in FIFO of material.
• Receives materials in the computer to reflect inventory accurately.
• Communicates any discrepancies found in counts or damage of incoming material.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Flexible in work and assignments.
• Licensed to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of all safety requirements.

Pay

The base hourly rate for this position is $26.85.

Schedule

The responsibilities for this job are performed in the finished goods warehouse.
