Warehouseperson Trainee - 3rd shift

Summary

Performs functions directly related to a distribution facility. Performs shipping and receiving functions as well as computer transaction daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates a Reach Truck in a safe and responsible manner.
• Practices the highest standards of GMP's and Quality Control procedures.
• Documents safety checks on tow motor prior to use.
• Ensures accurate documentation of all paperwork.
• Completes activity movement sheets daily.
• Rotates stock in a FIFO format.
• Selects the proper product for customer orders.
• Maintains a clean work environment daily.
• Maintains and operates the RF terminals daily.
• Performs monthly physical inventories as designated by the corporate staff, and performs cycle counts with the department manager.
• Works closely with the production departments.
• Maintains open communication between fellow workers.
• Reports any product or property damage to supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experienced forklift operation/knowledge.
• Experience with a stand up deep-reach truck a plus.
• Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
• Knowledge of computer software.
• Inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Previous warehousing experience preferred.

Schedule

Weekend work is required, days off are Tuesday & Wednesday.
