Warehouseman

About the Role

A POS employee is required to work in multiple locations in the POS warehouse. Responsibilities include picking orders assigned, unloading and loading inventory trailers and deliveries. Employees will also be responsible for inventorying the warehouse on a scheduled basis or ad-hoc as business needs require, putting away products, self-service area upkeep, and mailroom distribution.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and abilities to appropriately communicate with managerial staff and other employees.
• Work with people of diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrate strong detail orientation, understand product differences, and read product labels.
• Take direction to perform desired tasks.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
• Experience in an automated warehouse preferred.
• Basic skills in math and English, including reading and identifying product labels, location codes, warehouse sorting labels, and customer orders.

Pay

The anticipated starting salary for this role is $18 per hour.
