About the role
Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Yard Jockey/Truck Driver for our Distribution Center/Warehouse. This role involves the movement of trailers between pads, doors, and buildings on a timely basis, as well as moving trailers around the lot, preparing them to be loaded, and shuttling trailers to offsite locations. This is a low mileage severe duty function requiring particular attention to preventative maintenance checks and services and actual scheduled vehicle maintenance. Work is performed on asphalt, concrete, and gravel surfaces in an environment often contaminated with material subject to embedding in tires.
Schedule
- 4 Day Work Week
- East Coast Shift: Monday through Thursday
- West Coast Shift: Tuesday through Friday
Pay
$23.00 - $26.50 per hour

Responsibilities
- Timely movements of trailers in the yard
- Communicate with warehouse staff via two-way radio
- Performing lot and door checks
- Sliding tandems to meet stage bridge laws
- Checking trailers for safety
- Use two-way radio with sort operator, shipping lead, and shipping supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Class A CDL with current medical card required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Sufficient strength and dexterity to control tractor and hitch full or empty trailers
- Eye/hand coordination
