Warehouse Worker -Tulane University - LBC Dock - Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products according to FIFO principles, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and carts as needed.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders, ensuring accuracy and meeting production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Clean work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight platforms.
• Implement and adhere to safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
• Use required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Take appropriate measures to secure client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests regarding business activities.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Some client locations may require a valid driver's license.
• Availability: Generally scheduled between 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, subject to change.
